Expectations were high when the Bills gave up two first-round picks in the 2014 NFL draft and selected Sammy Watkins fourth overall. He played in 37 of a possible 48 games in his three years with the Bills, amassing 153 catches for 2,459 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was traded along with a sixth-round 2018 draft pick to the L.A. Rams on Aug. 11 for defensive back E.J. Gaines and a second-round pick in 2018.
